The Solgear® Waist Belt Throw Bag is two-piece throw bag consisting of a holster and a bag. The user wears the holster with throw bag trapped inside. The holster belt has a common jam lever similar to the live-bait belts found on a type V rescue PFD. Should a user become snagged by the belt, a pull on the tail will release the belt from the user. When it comes time to use the throw bag, just undo the side release buckle that holds the throw bag in the holster. This should expose a wad of fabric that is the top of the throw bag. Simply pull the bag from the holster, undo a Velcro closure that is designed to hide all of the rope for minimal entrapment hazard, and your throw bag is ready to go. The bag itself is now made of a bright green polyester fabric complete with reflective webbing and plenty of room to stuff your rope easily. Two grommets are at the bottom of the bag for your rope tail are backed with webbing to resist tear-out and allow you to tie the bag into the end of the rope. This is then hidden under a padded Velcro pocket and comes with an NRS® Keylock Screwlock carabiner allowing for easy connection to another bag to create a longer line. This Solgear™ Throw Bag is stuffed with 60' of 8.2 mm Sure-Grip rope by Bluewater Ropes® and has a rated break strength of 3200LBS or 14.2kN. Not too bulky for easy throwing, big enough diameter to easily hold, and strong enough for professional work. This custom made rope has blue tracers and is made of a braided dyneema core, polypropylene sheath and meets the NFPA 1983 Standard, 2017 Rev. Ed.
